Breakfast at the Mountain 03

“We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty.” Mother Teresa

Thankful to God that this past year has provided a clearer platform for me to deliver meaningful messages artistically. Though I don’t have the luxury of courage to go against what tradition has already made me to become, it was never a liability to be a stranger to what I have always craved to doing as an artist.

The year ended with a bang! – Literally, figuratively and almost hopelessly.

But thanks be to God, a day of leaving my footsteps in the most challenging and yet most welcoming environment had given me what I had never had in the entirety of my life. To dream amidst sleeplessness, to hope amidst numbness, and to love amidst rejection.

These are the portraits of people to seem to have nothing and yet smile, laugh and pray like they have all things.

Reality is, they are more blessed than most of us.
